Job Summary:

• The Architect is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the development of building projects from initial concept to completion. This role involves creating architectural plans, collaborating with engineers and project teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering creative yet practical design solutions. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical design skills, knowledge of construction processes, and a passion for innovative and sustainable architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Concept Development

• Create detailed architectural drawings, models, and 3D visualizations using CAD software.
• Develop innovative design concepts that meet client needs, site conditions, and budget.
• Conduct site analyses to inform design decisions, environmental considerations, and structural planning.
• Lead design presentations to clients, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Project Coordination & Management

• Collaborate with engineers, quantity surveyors, interior designers, and contractors.
• Monitor project development to ensure it aligns with design intent and specifications.
• Assist in preparing planning applications and regulatory documentation for building approvals.
• Review construction materials and methods to ensure quality and design integrity.

Compliance & Technical Oversight

• Ensure architectural plans comply with all building codes, safety regulations, and legal standards.
• Prepare detailed construction documents and supervise periodic site inspections.
• Address construction challenges by providing technical resolutions.
• Work with legal and regulatory teams to secure permits and resolve zoning issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Registration with ARCON or NIA is required.
• 5–8 years of post-graduate experience in architectural design and construction.
• Portfolio of completed projects across residential, commercial, or urban developments.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, structural design, and materials.
• Excellent visualization and graphic presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and strong problem-solving abilities.
