Architect at Regeneration DDC

We are searching for a full time creative and inspired architect who will plan, develop and implement building designs. The Architect will be responsible for developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, construction documentation and managing project teams.

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the inspection of a project from inception to completion, (including pre-contract works like feasibility studies, concept development, schematic designs, construction documentation, tender process, pre-contract to post-contract supervision) 
• To be responsible for the preparation of highly detailed working drawings and specifications and other construction documents using software as Computer-Aided Design (CAD) applications; AutoCAD, 3DMax, Lumion, Revit, SketchUp, etc. 
• To be responsible for the preparation of approval drawings for submission for statutory approvals, building approvals and planning permissions.
• Work closely with and coordinate a team of other professionals, such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, architectural technologists and consultants, contractors and other professionals in the building industry
• To participate in project management of the construction process, including resources, quality, time, communication and stakeholder management
• Visit to sites to ensure compliance with architectural drawings, details and finishing and proffer solutions or revisions to on-site challenges
• To produce reports for every site visit and to ensure the availability of architectural drawings on every construction site.

Requirements and Qualifications 

• Degree (HND and B.Sc.) in architecture or a related field.
• 4+ years of practical experience in a construction company or related field
• Excellent design and Illustration skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good Detailing/ Specification/ Working drawing skills
• Analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in CAD Software- Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, 3dsmax, Lumion, SketchUp, Enscape, etc.
• Good reporting and document management skills
