We are looking for a creative and inspired Architect and Furniture Designer who is capable of managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing implementable drawings, and specifications of furniture and cabinets to fit the clients’ requirements.

An outstanding Architect will have a keen eye for design, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate superior technical design skills, and be able to create designs that are functional, creative, and sustainable.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect who is able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be able to take detailed as-built building measurements.

Responsibilities

• The Architect is responsible for designing furniture and interior pieces, managing furniture and interior design projects. This involves creating designs, managing project sites, receiving client briefs, designing and communicating clients’ specifications to the factory.
• The Design Architect is also responsible for ensuring that clients’ requests are done to specification and delivered on time.
• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline the architectural design of the project
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure the quality of work and adherence to safety standards
• Collaborate with sales teams in order to establish goals and schedules
• Meeting with clients and determining their needs and requirements.
• Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
• Developing and presenting project proposals.
• Adjusting designs and plans to meet the client’s needs.
• Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design documents.
• Complying with safety standards and local planning regulations.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years experience
• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Architect preferred.
• Must understand how to design furniture, have in-depth knowledge of manufacture and assembly of furniture products.
• Must have knowledge of interior furniture space management.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Photoshop, etc.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong creative and visualization skills
