Job Summary

• 90% toolbox training before commencement of work.
• 80% attendance in safety meeting.

Scope and Responsibilities

• Enquiry Management
• Lead the team of HVAC Engineers
• Submission of Technical Proposal, Selection of recommendation of HVAC equipment and Preparation of estimates / quotation
• Sales follow-ups/ Offer reports /Championed Product update
• Calculation of cooling load estimates and HVAC design
• Site visit to assess project quotation / design
• Ordering of HVAC equipment’s from factory and liaising with factory for technical Support.
• Contract Documentation
• Customer Order Management
• Ensures all enquiries and external Correspondence be professionally acknowledged within 24 working hours of receipt
• Ensures 100% Costing accuracy and technical specifications are well interpreted and represented at all times.
• Submission of RFQ and offers reports to Lead HVAC Tendering and Application Engineer every working Wednesday of the month
• Ensures active contribution to meeting Carrier and departmental target by ensuring offers sent turns out a closed deal
• Submission of all documented championed product updates from Carrier and Competitors every month to the entire team
• Ensures 100% accuracy of all customers’ design
• Ensures specification of all Orders are 100% accurate at all times.
• Ensures that all new projects and executed have documented POs/Award letters both in soft and hard copies at all times
• All delivered items must have their delivery notes documented both in soft/hard copies at all times
• Ensures All orders are within budgets at all times
• Ensures Customers are up to date on specific milestones at all times
• Ensures orders are successfully delivered to the customers within stipulated time at all times

Education and Experience

Education

• First degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Professional Certification is an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 7-10 years’ cognate experience
