OVERALL FUNCTION

• We are seeking experienced and creative Animators to join our content development team.
• As an Animator, you will be responsible for developing visually compelling animations using both traditional tools and AI-powered platforms.
• You will work closely with our illustrators, Instructional design, and other relevant stakeholders to bring scripts to life for students across Africa and beyond. In this role, your primary work tools will be AI tools, you must have an open mind, a willingness to experiment, and a deep curiosity about how technology can enhance creativity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create high-quality animations for educational videos and digital content.
• Collaborate with illustrators, instructional designers, and other relevant stakeholders to
• conceptualize and execute ideas.
• Efficiently use AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Luma, Haiullo, ChatGPT Image generation, etc.)
• to enhance production efficiency and creativity.
• Utilize Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro to assemble and polish final outputs.
• Participate in storyboarding, visual development, and design feedback sessions.
• Optimize assets for various platforms and resolutions.
• Stay up to date with animation and AI trends to inform and inspire your work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in animation and motion design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Hands-on experience with AI content tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Luma, Haiullo, and
• ChatGPT Image generation.
• Strong visual storytelling and design sensibility.
• Ability to take direction and iterate based on feedback.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong portfolio showcasing animation projects and/or AI-enhanced content.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be based in Lagos; this is an on-site role.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in educational or explainer video production.
• Background in character animation or visual effects.
• Familiarity with AI voice tools (e.g., Eleven Labs), 3D animation, or Unreal Engine.
