The Documentation Officer is responsible for ensuring that all documentation related to invoicing, procurement, customs clearance, and purchase orders for both stores and technical supplies is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
This role is critical in supporting a timely, accurate, and well-structured vessel invoicing process, while also contributing to effective cost control and adherence to statutory and operational regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Review all documents related to invoices and procurement.
Verify documents against purchase orders and quotations.
Highlight and resolve invoicing discrepancies
Ensure accurate filing and documentation for proper records and easy reach to technical officers
Suggest improvements to documentation and workflow process.
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in marine operations, Documentation, or related accounting field
Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
