    Ambulance Driver

    Location: Ibese DCT, Ibese DCT

    Company: Dangote Industries Limited

    The Ambulance Driver is responsible for ensuring timely response to medical transport requests, maintaining the ambulance in excellent condition, and supporting patient care logistics in compliance with company and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate the ambulance to transport patients, staff, or medical equipment between designated locations (clinics, hospitals, accident scenes, etc.).
    • Respond promptly to dispatch calls for emergency and non-emergency medical transportation.
    • Perform routine inspection of the vehicle before and after each trip (fuel, oil, tires, lights, siren, brakes, etc.).
    • Keep the ambulance clean, disinfected, and stocked with required supplies and equipment.
    • Keep accurate transport and incident logs.
    • Adhere strictly to all traffic rules and company safety procedures.
    • Assist medical staff or first responders in lifting or moving patients safely when required.
    • Participate in regular safety, driving, and first-aid training organized by the company.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Maximum of OND or equivalent.
    • Valid Driver’s License (Class D or appropriate category for ambulance vehicles).
    • Minimum of 3–5 years driving experience, preferably in ambulance, logistics, or emergency transport services.
    • Good knowledge of road safety laws and routes within the company’s operational area.
    • Basic First Aid or CPR training (advantage).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Physically fit and capable of assisting in patient handling when needed.
    • Calm, dependable, and able to work under pressure.
