We are an ambitious agriculture consultancy in Lagos, on a mission to transform the sector. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Agro-Consulting Intern to join our team.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects that make a difference in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research on agronomic practices, crop management techniques, and agricultural technologies.
Assist in collecting and analysing data related to soil health, crop performance, and environmental factors.
Participate in client meetings, field visits, and presentations.
Compile and summarise research findings into actionable insights for clients.
Support consulting projects by preparing project proposals, reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to clients needs.
Participate in field visits, farm trials, and demonstrations to gain practical experience and insights.
Assist in the implementation of agricultural technologies and practices to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Collaborate with team members to identify challenges and opportunities in agriculture.
Propose innovative solutions and strategies to address client needs and
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge in agriculture and consulting.
Take initiative in learning new tools, techniques, and technologies relevant to agricultural consulting.
Requirements:
HND or B.sc in Agricultural Sciences or related field
Must be a corper in Lagos who is looking for PPA
Strong passion for agriculture and a desire to make a positive impact on farming practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with agricultural software/tools is a plus.
Previous internship or course work experience in agriculture is preferred but not required.
