Agro-Consulting Intern at SENCE Nigeria

Job Overview:

• We are an ambitious agriculture consultancy in Lagos, on a mission to transform the sector. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Agro-Consulting Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on agronomic practices, crop management techniques, and agricultural technologies.
• Assist in collecting and analysing data related to soil health, crop performance, and environmental factors.
• Participate in client meetings, field visits, and presentations.
• Compile and summarise research findings into actionable insights for clients.
• Support consulting projects by preparing project proposals, reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to clients needs.
• Participate in field visits, farm trials, and demonstrations to gain practical experience and insights.
• Assist in the implementation of agricultural technologies and practices to improve efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaborate with team members to identify challenges and opportunities in agriculture.

Requirements:

• HND or B.sc in Agricultural Sciences or related field
• Must be a corper in Lagos who is looking for PPA
• Strong passion for agriculture and a desire to make a positive impact on farming practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with agricultural software/tools is a plus.
• Previous internship or course work experience in agriculture is preferred but not required.
