Agricultural Sourcing Analyst at UltraHire

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an Agricultural Sourcing Analyst with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to support the sourcing of agricultural raw materials, particularly palm kernel nuts and shells. This role is critical in ensuring efficient procurement, accurate data management, and seamless logistics coordination while maintaining compliance with sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track, record, and update daily purchase transactions for palm kernel nuts and other raw materials using Google Sheets.
• Ensure all procurement and logistics data are accurately entered and regularly updated in SALT.
• Work closely with the Software Engineering Team to maintain real-time data accuracy on the company's geospatial sourcing platform (SITE).
• Monitor and analyze sourcing schedules, agent activities, and logistics routes to enhance raw material pickups.
• Ensure sourcing operations comply with the company’s sustainability policies and ethical sourcing guidelines.
• Generate data-driven reports and insights to improve procurement efficiency and inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with field teams to gather and verify sourcing data, ensuring transparency in supplier engagements.
• Communicate the company’s new sourcing programs to farmers and suppliers, fostering trust and participation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in agricultural sourcing or data analysis and supply chain operations within the agriculture sector.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate with field agents.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in engaging with farmers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of sustainable sourcing practices in agriculture is a plus.
