• Lead Agile delivery across digital products and technology initiatives, aligning cross-functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, and improving delivery predictability and outcomes.

Job Details

Agile Delivery

• Lead Agile delivery across cross-functional Product and Technology teams.
• Facilitate effective Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Work with Product Managers and teams to ensure backlogs are well structured, prioritised and ready for delivery.
• Support teams in breaking complex initiatives into manageable increments.
• Monitor delivery progress and identify risks, blockers and dependencies early.
• Drive resolution of impediments and escalate issues when required.
• Help teams maintain a sustainable and predictable delivery pace.

Planning & Execution

• Translate product roadmaps and strategic priorities into actionable delivery plans.
• Support quarterly planning, release planning and sprint planning.
• Coordinate dependencies across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Operations and other stakeholders.
• Track key milestones and critical delivery paths.
• Ensure teams have clarity on objectives, scope, timelines and dependencies.
• Maintain visibility of delivery progress and emerging risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• You will act as a key connector across teams, ensuring that:
• Product and Engineering remain aligned.
• Design and research are incorporated early into delivery.
• Technology dependencies are understood and managed.
• QA and security activities are incorporated into the delivery lifecycle.
• Business and operational stakeholders are prepared for releases.
• External partners and vendors are appropriately coordinated where required.

Release Management

• Coordinate readiness for major product and technology releases.
• Ensure appropriate testing, quality, security, operational and business readiness activities are completed.
• Facilitate release planning and go-live coordination.
• Support post-release reviews and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future delivery.

Agile Coaching & Continuous Improvement

• Coach teams on effective Agile and Lean practices.
• Help teams adopt the most appropriate delivery methodology for their context, including Scrum, Kanban or hybrid approaches.
• Identify delivery bottlenecks and systemic issues.
• Use retrospectives and delivery data to drive measurable improvements.
• Challenge ineffective processes and unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Help teams become increasingly autonomous and self-organising.

Delivery Reporting & Insights

• Provide clear visibility of delivery performance to Product and Technology leadership, including:
• Delivery progress   
• Milestones   
• Risks and issues   
• Dependencies   
• Delivery forecasts   
• Sprint and release performance  
• Quality indicators   
• Key impediments

Requirements

Educational Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline is preferred.

Professional Requirements

• Relevant certifications are advantageous, including:
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) 
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM) 
• PMI-ACP   
• SAFe   
• PRINCE2 Agile   
• ICAgile

Experience Requirements

• We are looking for someone who combines strong Agile expertise with excellent delivery leadership and stakeholder management skills. You should have:
• 5+ years’ experience in Agile delivery, technology delivery, product delivery, programme delivery or a related field.
• Strong practical experience working with Scrum teams.
• Experience managing delivery across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
• Experience managing dependencies, risks and delivery blockers.
• Experience coordinating technology or digital product releases.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience working in complex or enterprise environments.
• Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, Asset Management or other regulated industries will be an advantage.
