Responsibilities:

• Conduct of searches and verifications at the Lands Registries, corporate searches at the Corporate Affairs Commission, the Courts and various other Government Agencies;
• Drafting and review of Court processes up to the High Courts and filing at the Courts and appearance in proceedings at such Courts;
• Drafting and review of commercial agreements and contracts;
• Attending meetings and taking minutes at such meetings and general company secretarial services functions;
• Liaising with relevant Government Business Regulatory Agencies and obtaining necessary approvals, permits and licenses;
• Liaising with and representing clients at the investigating units/departments of law enforcement agencies;
• Provision of general legal advisory services on diverse areas of law.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from a recognised University in Nigeria or abroad and qualifying Barrister at Law Certificate (B.L) from the Nigerian Law School both with a minimum of second-class upper degree and Certificate scores;
• Must have completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Core Scheme;
• Not more than 30 years of age with 2-4 years cognate experience at the bar.
