The Administrative Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of the organization. The role ensures efficient office management, supervises support staff, manages logistics and facility operations. The Administrative Manager plays a key role in maintaining organizational effectiveness and compliance with policies, laws, and best practices.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all administrative and office operations.
Supervise and support office staff to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and systems.
Oversee facility management (maintenance, security, utilities, and supplies).
Plan logistics for the hospital.
Act as the liaison between the hospital and public.
Assists the Director of Administration in performance management process.
Support human resource functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, labor laws, and regulations.
Maintain proper record-keeping and documentation for audit and reporting.
Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Perform any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Higher National diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field of study.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s in related discipline is an added advantage
National Youth Service or Exemption Certificate.
Additional courses in subjects such as conflict management, industrial psychology or other related fields will be an asset.
Full understanding of the Nigeria Labour Law.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in administration or management roles
Demonstrated decision-making skills in an organizational environment
Proven communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with management and employees; collaborate on teams and develop positive working relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to details
Ability to work diligently under pressure and maintain confidentiality
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of email, Word, Excel, Power Point; working knowledge of office equipment
