Accounting Officer at New Dawn Microfinance Bank Ltd

Job Description:

The Accounting Officer will be responsible for financial bookkeeping, reconciliations,  analyzing of all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements and budget preparation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and review financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws.
• Prepare budgets regularly.
• Monitor expenditure and profits and providing reports.
• Evaluate internal management systems, procedures and risks in order to provide recommendations.
• Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements.
• Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.

Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of first degree or its equivalent in Accounting or similar discipline
• A minimum of one year post-qualification experience as an accounting officer which must be in the financial services industry.
