About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Intern (NYSC) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, financial record-keeping, and reporting while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording and updating financial transactions in accounting software.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and monthly statements.
• Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Provide support during audits and tax preparations.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Current NYSC Corps Member seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) in Lagos.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
