Job Description

• Financial analysis: Examining financial statements and other data to assess the financial health of an organization
• Financial reporting: Preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to help investors, lenders, and customers assess a company's financial health
• Tax preparation: Preparing and managing tax returns, and providing tax planning services
• Auditing: Auditing financial information, and working with auditors to ensure legal compliance
• Risk analysis: Identifying potential areas of risk, and providing risk analysis and forecasting
• Financial actions: Recommending financial actions, and advising on areas that require efficiencies and cost-savings
• Bookkeeping: Ensuring all bookkeeping is accurate and adheres to state and federal law
• Accountants may also perform other duties, such as reconciling accounts, processing payments, managing accounts payable, and providing executive administrative support.
