Position Summary

• We are looking for a skilled Accountant with 3–5years of experience to join our team on a 3-month contract basis.
• The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of setting up effective accounting processes.
• Prior experience in supporting startups will be a strong advantage. Due to the nature of the role, proximity to our office location is a key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including payables, receivables, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and reports.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with statutory/tax obligations.
• Set up or strengthen accounting systems and controls suitable for a growing business.
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior experience working with startups or setting up accounting processes is highly desirable.
• Must live within close proximity to the office (Ikeja, Lagos State).
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
