Accountant at The Label Store

Responsibilites

• Maintain accurate financial records of all store transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
• Handle cash flow management and ensure timely bank deposits.
• Reconcile cash registers, POS transactions, and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor inventory-related financial records to detect stock variances, shrinkage, or theft.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Assist with budget preparation and track actual performance against budget.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory filings (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.).
• Work closely with the internal control team to implement financial controls that prevent losses.
• Prepare for and support external and internal audits.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a BSc Degree with 3 - 8 years work experience.
