Accountant at Sthenic Finance & Advisory Limited

• We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in SEC-regulated environments to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least three (3) years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within investment firms, capital markets, brokerage, asset management, or other SEC-regulated organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, financial policies, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts, budgets, and cash flow.
• Handle tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support internal controls, risk management, and compliance processes.
• Oversee payroll processing, vendor payments, and expense management.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience in an SEC-regulated company.
• Strong understanding of SEC compliance, financial regulations, and corporate governance.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
