Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site Accountant role located in Lagos.
• The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions and records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Daily tasks include maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling bank statements, processing invoices, and handling payroll.
• The Accountant will also assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and audits to support the financial health and growth of the company.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and audits
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is a plus
