    Role Overview

    The Accounting Manager’s responsibilities includes inventory management; timely preparation and analyses of all facets of the financial operations of the company including financial statement preparation, cash management, budget preparation and analyses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all other fiscally related duties.

    Key Accountability Areas

    • Management account and reporting
    • Preparation of management accounts, balance sheet, cash flow statement and finance reports within agreed timescales
    • Inventory control
    • Produce inventory analysis and variance report by SKU and category
    • Ensure internal control compliance with regards to inventory management

    Receivables Management:

    • Monitor ageing balances, work closely with the sales team to ensure collection guidelines are adhered to and that issues are quickly resolved;
    • Document trends and initiate corrective action to ensure maximum cash reimbursement. Approve, established and maintain credit limits on all new and current customer accounts.

    Minimum acceptable training and experience:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,  with 3-5 years experience in a sales/retail driven environment.
    • ICAN certified accountant is strongly preferred
