Job Responsibilities

• Maintain the books and accounts of the Church by ensuring accurate recording of all income, expenditure, assets, and liabilities.
• Lodge all income to the Church into the designated bank accounts.
• Administer the petty cash account in line with approved policies and procedures.
• Process all procurement and expenditure requests in line with approved policies and procedures.
• Manage the administration of the staff payroll and benefit schemes.
• Prepare the monthly financial report for the attention of the Church Wardens and the external auditors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Vicar, Church Wardens, and the Parish Secretary.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Possession of professional qualifications will be an added advantage (ACA, ANAN, ACCA,CPA)
• 2 - 4 years cognate experience in related field.
