Accountant at Maurice Xandra Solutions

JOB SUMMARY: Our Client, in the Information and Technology Industry is looking to hire an Accountant who will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, reporting day-to-day activities and helping the company be fully aware of its financial condition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Updating account receivable and issue invoices.
• Act as backup accounts payable
• Responsible for reconciling ledgers monthly and quarterly
• Familiar with various subsidiary books of account
• Responsible for generating reports of financial status information.
• Budget and budgetary control

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess a Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Mininum of 1 year working in an accounting function
• Proficiency with a computer knowledge generally
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and various accounting software programs
• Candidate must have a keen attention to details
• Candidate must be an excellent problem solver
• Candidate must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to carry out any other responsibilities or assignments given by the Senior Accountant.
