Description

• The Accountant primary responsibility of managing and running of all the finance activities of a company, including internal control checks, negotiations & budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of financial report to Management for regular decision making
• Oversee the preparation of management accounts
• Review of account reconciliation, account receivable, and account payable
• Preparation of all invoices, client receipt, and payment vouchers
• Oversee the verification of Petty cash and other payment
• Liaise with accounts officers of respective Company’s bankers, tax authorities, and external auditors
• Oversee cheque lodgment, and monitor bank balance/statements
• Liaise with external contractors on completion of project before payment
• Good knowledge of Quick book and other accounting packages
• Preparation of Bank sort code for disbursement of salaries & other staff payment & allowances.
• Internal Control checks and proper audits of all pre-disbursement transactions.
• Monitor and review accounting related system reports to ensure accuracy and completeness

Qualifications

• First Degree or equivalent plus professional qualification of ICAN or ACCA. especially in finance will be a definite advantage
• Proficiency in the use of MS office tools (Word, Excel and Access) and ability to use accounting software
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing/production company
• Good analytical and technical skills.
