Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain precise financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow management.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic business planning.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics specific to the food production sector.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making
• Evaluate and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Assist in financial risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN) is advantageous but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the food production or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
