The company was incorporated in 2012. Our activities are spread around the four (4) major oil lifting centers of Nigeria, namely Calabar, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Oghara/Warri.     Accountant

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier/customer accounts.
    • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Support budget preparation, variance analysis, and expense monitoring
    • Support audit activities by providing relevant data and documentation.
    • Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
    • Examining expenses submitted by employees
    • Process Receipts for incoming payments
    • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
    • Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with the client.
    • Monitor budgets, expenditures, and cost control measures.
    • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper depreciation accounting.
    • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
    • Process and review all financial transactions, including payments, expenses and vendor settlements.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ICAN/ACCA certification or student membership is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience as an Accountant in a corporate environment.
    • Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or ERP system) and MS Excel.
    • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must demonstrate honesty, discipline, and professionalism.
