Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Port Harcourt.
• The accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial record keeping, preparation of financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting financial analysis.
• Additionally, the Accountant will ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist in audits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
• Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting or Finance
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus
