The accountant will be responsible for the daily financial operation of the company, and provide effective financial management services to the company and also enforce accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions (accounts payable and accounts receivable).

• Accurately update the internal system with financial data.

• Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.

• Review, design and implement financial policies.

• Track bank deposits and payments.

• Audit financial transactions and documents.

• Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data.

• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & accounting tools.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-3 years work experience.

• HND/BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & accounting tools.

• ACA or ACCA certified is a plus.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Keen interest in the growth, efficiency, and profitability of an organization.
