Account Officer at Raybond Technical Limited

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and audit schedules.
• Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations, including tax, pension, and other remittances.
• Collaborate with the procurement and service teams to verify and reconcile material purchases, logistics costs, and subcon tractor payments.
• Manage and reconcile accounts, including payables, receivables.
• Track and report on project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgets and client contracts.
• Prepare invoices, follow up on collections, and maintain accurate records of all client and vendor transactions.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and payments promptly and professionally.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment processes.
• Process and monitor staff expense reports, advances, and reimbursements.
• Support financial planning and analysis.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and ensure timely settlement of obligations.
• Maintain a high standard of financial documentation and internal controls

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the engineering, or technical services industry.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA certified).
• Strong understanding of project accounting and cost control principles.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-driven environment.
