We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Officer to manage and oversee the financial operations of the company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the company’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and summaries.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures.
Manage payroll, including processing employee salaries and deductions.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to management.
Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and legal requirements.
Manage cash flow and provide recommendations for improving financial processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
