Account Officer at Montcrest Hotel

Job Summary:  

The Account Officer is responsible for  handling the financial records of the organization. Account Officer will oversee accounts, manage invoices, and ensure smooth transactions with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial records.
• Handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Checking invoices.
• Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
• Contacting clients about transactions and invoices.
• Handling queries related to accounts.
• Utilize database software to organize financial account information
• Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources
• Make regular contact with clients to ensure payment
• Ensure company financial accounts, such as credit cards, are paid on time
• Perform internal audits on financial activities as necessary
• Review both incoming and outgoing invoices
• Generate financial reports for review regulatory authorities

Qualification and skills

• Min of 2-5 years experience in finance Bsc/HND in Accounting from a recognized institution
• Proximity to Trans-Amadi/Odili Axis, Garrison & Abuloma will be preferred
• Proficiency in using an accounting software
