Summary

• We're seeking an experienced Account Officer to join our team.
• You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual performance against projections.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5years of experience in accounting or finance.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Close proximity to the office is an added advantage
