Account Officer at De-Net Optimum Communication Limited

Job Description

• As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking detail-oriented and experienced Account Officers to join our finance team in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Asaba.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, statements, and reports.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger entries.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Support audits and liaise with auditors when required.
• Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
• Work closely with management to provide financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN (fully or partially qualified) will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
