Account Officer at Coleman Technical Industries Limited

Job Summary 

• We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized Account Officer to join our team in Arepo.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the cable industry, will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial planning activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory remittances where required.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial and accounting issues.
• Support internal and external audit activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting or finance experience (experience in a manufacturing company is an added advantage).
• Professional certification (ICAN, ATS, ACCA, or part qualification) will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is desirable.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be between 22 to 35 years old.
• Residing within or close to Apo, Abuja (FCT)is an advantage.
