Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer to manage our financial transactions and ensure our financial operations are accurate and transparent.
• Account Officer Responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns.
• The ideal candidate should be familiar with bookkeeping and have hands-on experience with accounting software like Fresh Books and QuickBooks.
• Ultimately, the role of the Account Officer is to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets, ensuring the company’s financial stability and transparency.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years experience.
