    Account Manager - Connected Plant

    Job Description
    Be responsible for the sales of Honeywell Inc Connected Plant solutions in SSA region within Nigeria.

    • Develop business plans and meet overall financial objectives by conducting sales presentations and customer consultations that maximize sales closure rates.

    Sales activity:

    • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly & annual financial booking and gross margin targets.
    • Identify, qualify and pursue target job opportunities and maintain appropriate activity backlog.
    • Provide accurate planning and forecasting of sales activity.
    • Be an active member of the SSA sales team, supporting the HPS Account Managers to grow HCP business.
    • Provide market feedback on solutions, competitive data, market pricing, etc.. to the leadership team

    Customer relationships:
    Strengthen Honeywell’s relationship and position with new and existing accounts and improve the client relationship by:

    • Actively managing the relationships for all assigned accounts, including C-level
    • Networking with industry organizations and relevant communities
    • Establishing key contacts within multiple tiers of the customer organization
    • Regular communication with customer influencer and the Honeywell Sales team

    Effective Management of the Sales Cycle:

    • Responsible for the effective management of the sales process from identifying and qualifying prospects to successfully closing the sale.
    • Developing sales leads through prospecting and lead generation activities
    • Preparation and delivery of effective, persuasive sales closing presentation with key customer decision makers
    • Coordinating estimation activities, ensuring costs are competitive
    • Qualifying sales opportunities to ensure expenditure of resources in a cost effective manner
    • Ensure successful handover of jobs/contracts to the operations team

    You Must Have

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
    • Industry experience
    • Base Selling
    • Solution Selling
    • 5 to 8 years’ experience in companies with similar profile to Honeywell Inc. in terms of markets and solutions
    • Understanding of industry sectors covered by HCP and exposure to sales
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful solutions based client relationships
