Account Manager at ASOLAR Systems Nigeria Limited

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly experienced and organized Head Accountant to join our dynamic team  
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience and a proven track record in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, cost control, and strategic thinking. Experience in forecasting, people management, and bank management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management and accounting functions
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Manage the budgeting process and monitor financial performance against the budget
• Implement and maintain effective cost control measures to optimize financial resources
• Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance and support as needed
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure optimal financial services and solutions
• Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs and provide strategic insights
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and financial standards
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance and accounting functions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management
• Strong financial planning, analysis, and reporting skills
• Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and strategic financial management
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Assertive and strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and make sound financial decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is a plus
