A-Level Psychology Teacher at Westerfield College

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver A-Level Psychology lessons in line with relevant exam board specifications (e.g. AQA, OCR, Edexcel).
• Assess student work regularly and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and final A-Level examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance,progress, and attainment.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Attend subject-specific meetings and contribute to curriculum development when required.

Person Specification:

• A degree in Psychology or a closely related field. Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching A-Level Psychology.
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of
• A-Level assessment criteria.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students in a sixth form setting.
• Experience working in an independent or international sixth form college.
• Experience using digital tools for teaching and assessment.
• A commitment to safeguarding and pronnoting student welfare.
