REPORTING LINE: SUPERVISOR

LOCATION: YABA, SURULERE, FESTAC & LEKKI

JOB TITLE: PERMANENT

Job Summary:

The Computer Instructor must plan the course content and sequence of instruction for computer learners. This process includes finding the right combination of computer software, computer hardware, hands-on instructional materials, concepts and learning activities. The sequence of instruction must help students move from what they already know to what they will learn as a result of instruction and participation in a course.

Other responsibilities include:

• Designs and teaches various computer courses for senior adults.
• Experience in Programming languages on both  Java,.NET
• Creates course outlines and writes instruction and review handouts for each of the different course. Prepares the room and the computers for use before each class; attends to the proper shut-down of computers after classes.
• Assures that the computer equipment is properly used.
• Supervises use of computer equipment during lab hours.
• Experience working in computer labs and with assisting patrons with computer usage preferred.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Certifications/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or any related field.
• Minimum 1-3years experience working with a school.
• Experience in Hardware, JAVA, Software, HTML, Graphics, Robotics etc
