Head, Projects Accountant at Alan & Grant

 Location: Port Harcourt

Job Purpose

The Job holder will be responsible for monitoring the progress of projects and ensure all accounting and financial activities are carried out in accordance with the established accounting standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create cost assessment of projects
• Create project accounts in the accounting system
• Oversee all Project Accounting Activities
• Provide high level of communication of financial project management information
• Coordinate timely preparation of annual budget forecast for all projects
• Create and maintain all costrelated records, including contracts, invoices, billings and orders
• Create and submit reports and tax returns related to projects
• Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required
• Report on project profitability to the management

Qualification and Experience

• BSc in Accounting or any related field
• Master’s degree is an added advantage
• 6-12 years in similar role
• Not more than 45years
• Must have experience in Project Contracts
