Terminal Operators at Beacongate Limited

Principal Accountabilities:

• Responsible for safe handling, storage, discharge of petroleum Product including into-trucks  all in accordance with Quality Control and Operating Standards.
• Correct recording of discharging and dispensing movement / sales.
• Operate correct Emergency Procedures in the event of incidents.
• Maintaining Customer Service levels.

Nature and Scope:

• Trained and competent in all procedures associated with the handling of petroleum products.
• Working knowledge of, and implement as necessary, Company Safety and Emergency Procedures.
• Schedule planned work to ensure dispensing of products in timely fashion.
• Daily planning of trucks and truck movement.
• Input all necessary data into the computer system/book to control all dispensing activities  and product movement including end of day reconciliation.
• Maintain all necessary records on dispensing product quality activity.
• Undertake special responsibilities, when trained.

Background / Qualifications / Skills required:

• Numerate and Computer literate
• Good oral & written language
• Previous experience in Petroleum Industry (an advantage)
• Good communication  & Interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexible to work demands - May require long working hours
