Financial Controller at Fosad Consulting

A leading insurance company in Nigeria is looking to hire a Financial Controller who along with the main duties of managing accounting and monitoring  internal control will also have supervisory responsibilities for the Treasury; Information Technology and Corporate Services team leads.

Duties:

• Preparation of Management Account on Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis in accordance with industry practice and standards and in line with IFRS
• Ensuring a query-free audit
• Ensuring that timelines for audit exercise is achievable and without disruption
• Other Financial Control duties

Education & Experience

• First degree in Accounting or Finance related discipline
• Certified Accountant -ACA, ACCA
• M.Sc. in Accounting or related discipline and MBA will be an advantage
• Minimum of 15 years work experience in well-established corporate organizations

Competences

• In-depth knowledge of Financial Accounting and other aspects of accounting in general operations – Investment,  Audit, Internal control etc.
• Knowledge of Investment, Tax laws and relevant Accounting standards
• Strong numerical skills
