Performs and analyses laboratory samples in order to provide results for medical practitioners to diagnose treatment and prevent diseases.
REQUIREMENTS
The medical lab scientist should preferably have at least 1 to 2 years working experience in a pathology laboratory environment.
Good clinical laboratory practice (GCLP)
The medical lab scientist must be registered as a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (in the relevant discipline where he/ she is licensed by the Medical Laboratory Scientist Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
