RFID Systems Field Specialist at Weatherford

Job Summary

• The RFID Systems Field Specialist is responsible for the use of RFID technology that will be responsible for deploying, designing and maintenance of RFID Equipment which is to be used for the single trip upper and lower completions deployment.
• This is a new technology that will be used for the first time in Nigeria to reduce OPEX such as rig time. operational risks and so on. to provide an intervention less technology that eliminates wash pipe.

Key Responsibilities

• The RFID Systems Field Specialist is responsible for the field operations of RFID systems equipment
• RFID Systems Field Specialist will be responsible for operating and monitoring of the control systems operations, conducts maintenance of REID systems equipment at job site and workshop.
• Perform task associated with the REID System in collaboration with team members including load outs and backloads. deployment, cleanup, maintenance of tools and equipment including calibration, depth control, and analysis of the PDC cutters and bottomhole surface. Work assignments should be carried out to the highest level
• Train, develop, mentor a team of Engineers and Operators such that all are competent in running RFID related jobs

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Minimum of a Degree or HND level qualification in Engineering
• RFID Certifications will bean added advantage
• Knowledge of the oil & gas industry
• Experience in RF and Mixed Signal IC validation and testing
• Proven track record in running a well completion job with the RFID Technology
• Strong understanding of wireless systems and communication protocols
• Must be familiar with HEWD Modeling
• Knowledge of ISO, API etc. standard
• Proficient in statistical qualitative and related Operational Data Analysis.
• Minimum of 8 years in Oil & Gas Field with 2 years in RFID Well Technology
