Group Head - Information Technology at Leading Edge Consulting

Job Description

• This role is responsible for the leadership, direction and daily operations management of the department to ensure an enabling and secure platform for seamless business transactions.
• This covers strategic planning, compliance and control; business planning and development of technical plans and implementation to drive the business strategy and growth; effective project and resources management (including human and financial); infrastructure, data warehousing and security, among others.

Requirements

• A good first degree in Engineering, Statistics, Science or Technology background/certification in Information Technology, Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems. A Masters degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years post-graduation cognate experience obtained preferably from the financial services industry of which 5 years must be at a senior management level.
• Demonstrable business and IT integration competence, multiple project management and cross-functional initiatives implementation.
• The successful candidate must be skilled in financial planning, human resources management, vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
• The successful candidate for the role must be technology-driven, a solution provider and globally focused.
