On-Site Technical Project Manager at 4Barz Technologies

4BarzUp is seeking an experienced and customer-service oriented on-site Project Manager in Wuse, Abuja.

We are a Houston, US based software development company specialized in Mobile and web products with an offshore software development support group in Abuja.

The Project Manager will be responsible for on-site technical team management of Mobile software projects and software developers in our office in Abuja.

The manager will handle all aspects of office operations and coordination with both clients and developers, and communicating with the stake holders, remote collaboration with the Houston management team and keeping track of project expectations and timelines.

The ideal candidate can adapt within dynamic environments and able to articulate and translate project requirements, specifications and business processes in a clear, precise and compelling manner. S/he will be highly technical, and ready to regularly review software products and contribute to architecture and technology decisions.

Candidate is expected to be experienced in agile practices, sprint planning, use of technology tools for online collaboration, documentation, remote meetings, e.t.c such as live streaming, video conferencing, internal blogging.

Responsiblities:

• Responsible for all aspects of project management 
• Work with the developers and project team members from start of project to completion
• Manage scope, schedule, and dependency and ensure quality of project deliverables.
• Identify issues and risks and work with project team to develop mitigation plans and provide timely escalation.
• Submit timely updates, track and monitor tasks, milestones, deliverables, risks and issues.
• Ensure quality of project management work, timely updates, prepare and collect project related information.
• Manage communication and set expectations.
• Provide regular transparency, status reports and escalate risks and issues impacting project delivery.
• Coordinate with remote team and conduct regular online meetings
• Conduct post-project reviews

Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Certifications:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in management, business, or related field
• Work experience in management
• Experience in Software development/technical management
• Experience in Mobile Software is a plus
• Highly organized, analytical, ability to motivate and manage others
• Enthusiasm & drive, results orientation, and self-motivation traits.
• Demonstrate experience in managing multiple projects to successful conclusion
• Interpersonal skills and communications both oral and written.
• Able to drive execution across teams and deliver with tight deadlines.
