Infrastructure and Network Engineer at Emerging Platforms

Responsibilities

•     Actively analyse, design, implement and deliver new IT-Services and Solutions
•     Foster operational excellence through streamlined IT processes, standardization and automation
•     Innovate and monitor future trends, technologies and IT-solutions
•     Assist in the testing, selection, placement, implementation, documentation, operation and maintenance of various network technologies including, access controls, firewalls, routers, switches, and analysis tools
•     Design, monitoring and support of company network and technologies
•     Configure network hardware (Juniper routers, switches, VPN gateways, firewall, IDS/IPS, etc), software, and links (IP VPN, Internet, etc)
•     Responsible for the architecture, documentation, implementation, and administration of IT hardware, policies, best-practices, industry standards for worldwide deployment of WAN/LAN
•     Liaison with corporate IT, Development, and other staff for network issues and projects
•     Provide support and problem resolution for network issues
•     Interface with senior management as necessary, providing reports, presentations, and recommendations covering the operational aspects of the network
•     Identify risks and system needs, define solutions and establish standards and procedures
•     Provide day-to-day leadership to the Infrastructure Services team.
•     Maintain stability of the infrastructure as new products and services are introduced.
•     Monitor and manage infrastructure capacity.
•     Provide technology direction so that project services are highly available, efficient, and operable with acceptable performance.
•     Solve business needs with technology by evaluating different technology options and vendor products.
