Head ,Project Manager ( Power sector) at Nicole Sinclair Consulting

 Our client helms from the power sector specially in the production of solar energy in Nigeria. They are currently looking to fill the head of project management for the firm. this is a middle management role and the individual would be responsible for monitoring the implementation of flawless projects in all deployment areas.
Responsibilities

• Manages all individual projects/programs under one overall program management function - the one point in the organization where a ‘big picture’ is available on all pivotal activities
• Works closely with the Business Architect and senior tech/engineering management to manage and prioritize project portfolio
• Ensures clearly responsibility, authority, and accountability lie within all pivotal activities
• Manages master work plan, resourcing, risks/issue lists, quality, program finances, and progress tracking (status of deliverables, milestones/schedules)
• Knows the about power generation business /oil and gas and creates executive-level information
• Assesses and validates project estimates, as well as staffing for projects
• Instills basic non-bureaucratic management methodology
• Seasoned and deep expertise in program/project management skills/methodology, financial management and planning, a high level understanding of tech/engineering, and leadership/facilitation skills are required

Competency/Skill/Requirements

• First degree from a reputable university, masters degree desirable
• Project management certification a must.
• A minimum of 13 years work experience , and minimum of 5 years in supervisory position
• Age 33-38 years
• Must have related knowledge in power sector or telecommunications industry.
