The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be in full charge of driving new growth in the target region.
The overall goal of the RSM will be to drive sales through creative partnerships with players in FMCG, agriculture, finance, energy, government and any other major business sectors that have the ability to scale d.light’s presence in Nigeria.
The RSM will be a senior field-based operator reporting to the Country Manager and will be responsible (and well-compensated) for delivering regular sales goals.
The RSM will oversee a team of Field Sales Executives in within assigned Region.
Key Activities
Primarily responsible for managing sales and marketing activities in an assigned Region within Nigeria
Recruit 1 Transacting Distributor per State covered, 10 Transacting Wholesalers and coach Field Sales Execs to recruit and manage 25 transacting retailers per state covered within assigned territory
Coordination and execution of Sales and Business Building Plans
Monitor and ensure all Partners exceed agreed targets and also ensure no stock outs
Manage distribution reach into households
Organize review meetings with Partners to develop good customer relationship
Provide 6mth rolling sales forecasts, sales and stock reports
Implement and track incentive scheme and KPIs for motivating the Field staff
Provide regular on-the field coaching and training to the Field team
Responsible for all MFI and Retail business within assigned Region
Represent d.light to all relevant stakeholders and remain abreast of all developments impacting d.light business and the renewable energy market within assigned geography.
