JOB DESCRIPTION
The OD PM will provide strategic support to CRS’ current and potential partners (and other critical stakeholder institutions, networks and groups). This will be achieved through a participatory assessment oftheir needs; development and implementation of appropriate interventions that will strengthen their institutional, program management; financial and administrative management capacities. This is with the aim of increasing the capacity of the partners to more effectively design programs that are more community–driven, implement program interventions and thereby position themselves as organizations that are sustainable in the long run.
The successful candidate will also provide strategic support to CRS’ current and potential partners through participatory assessment of their needs; development and implementation of appropriate interventions that will strengthen their institutional, program management; financial and administrative capacities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support and guidance to the partner for the design, delivery and oversight of high quality capacity building interventions.
• Actively monitor the project budget and participate in the monthly CP budget comparison Report (BCR) meetings.
• Supports partners with regular validation, monitoring and evaluation visits to GAVI project states.
• Provide technical support to partners for proposal development and resource mobilization.
• Support training for CSOs in mobilizing community demand for Immunization and Health.
• Develops and implements standardized approaches and best practices in local partner capacity strengthening.
• Provides ongoing technical assistance to partners ensuring the quality and effectiveness of ongoing capacity building interventions.
• Remains up-to-date with latest methodologies, best practices, and donor requirements within the field of institutional capacity strengthening and organizational development.
• Develops and disseminates knowledge assets in support of capacity strengthening, including: guidelines, tools, case studies, and e-learning.
• Coordinates with partner document and disseminate lessons learned from GAVI project.
• Networks with institutions and experts in institutional capacity strengthening.
• Represents CRS at relevant meetings and fora.
