Ikeja Golf Club was founded in 1968 by some prominent Nigerians and Expatriates amongst who were: Mr. A. O. Sandey then Commercial Manager, Nigerian Airways; Major Dickson, then Airport Commandant; Air Cdre Dan Suleiman, then Commanding Officer Nigeria Air Force Base, Pfizer, Bobby Benson, and Felix Ibru. Others were Chief A. Sandey, Mrs. Alakijah, Dr. Bailey, Duncan Blackwood, Chief Gilbert Olukoya, Chief Sunday Dankoro, John Brown (Pro), Albert Afun Ogidan, Captain John Obianyor, and Baba Ahmed.

Golf Course Superintendent

- Location Lagos
- Job Field Administration / Secretarial , Agriculture / Agro-Allied
Job Specification
- Knowledge of Management and maintenance of Greens, Fairways and Roughs
- Knowledge of use and operating standards of Course equipment and tools use on Golf course.
- Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals.
- Ability to anticipate personnel, equipment, and materials requirement related to Golf course maintenance
Qualifications
- 5 years post qualification experience in Agronomy or Agriculture is required. Professional qualification in relevant field will be an added advantage.
- Must have good interpersonal skills to work with ground staff.
Remuneration
We are willing to pay above market rate.
